Experience
Unfortunately, many security companies are run by personnel that do not have
any formal law enforcement training or experience. Sadly enough, anyone can
decide to start a business and experience is not required.
Raven Security
Forces is owned by James Ralph. James is a graduate of the US Air Force
Police Academy. Raven Security is the only company to not only be owned by
prior law enforcement but also compromised of all current/prior law
enforcement.
Policy
All security
companies have the same policy-they will only observe the crime being
committed and then contact the police. This policy is the main reason
security is no longer effective at stopping crime. In fact, it is no longer
security's job to stop crime. It is the belief of our competition that
security is only intended to deter crime. Thus officers are rarely armed,
trained or required to be in physical shape. Our officers are trained to
apprehend offenders. Raven Security Forces offers a special patrol service
and provides this service to private communities, government agencies, state
agencies, and corporations. By
offering a special patrol service, Raven Security Forces is able to ensure
crime is stopped, offenders are apprehended and all our clients needs are
met. Raven Security Forces was the first to offer this type of service and
while some have attempted to duplicate our services, we
continue to lead the way.
Confidentiality
It is our responsibility to protect the client; this means their
reputation as well. All officers are required to sign a non disclosure
agreement prior to working for the company. This ensures that information
and incidents that relate to your company are kept confidential and are not
released to anyone outside our company. The confidentiality agreement also
applies to alarm codes and other sensitive information.
Training
Our
competition is required to have their officers attend an 8 hour class. This
class only addresses basic officer safety and the role of
security. Basically this class ensures officers know how to take down a good description of the
suspect.
Raven Security
Forces officers undergo 13 weeks of training. Upon
completion, our officers are placed with a Training Officer for an
additional 3 months of on-job-training. Officers are then sent to the
academy for advanced training in specialties such as Defense Tactics (DeTac),
Tactical K9 Training, Special Weapon and Tactics School, Tactical Medic,
etc… Our officers are also held to rigid physical fitness standard. To read
more about our standards of training, please visit our
training page.
Professional Fleet
Our fleet is compromised of vehicles intended
to be used for security (i.e. Impalas, Durangos, Intrepids) and are in use
by many law enforcement agencies. Vehicles are outfitted with
light bars, partitions, laptops, sirens/speakers, and company logos.
Investigative Service
Unlike the competition, our Security Division works closely with our
Investigation Division to ensure crime is reduced, offenders are prosecuted,
and reports are filed with local law enforcement and the client. Once an
incident occurs, an investigator is dispatched to the scene to begin the
gathering the necessary details. A report is sent to the client within 24
hours of the incident The Investigation Division works with local law
enforcement to ensure the offender is charged and prosecuted. This service
is always included with our contracts at no additional fee.
Crime Stop Program
In order to be effective, security needs the
input of others. Thus we created a way for clients, residents, guests,
etc... to leave crime/security tips online without having to give out their
information. This information is immediately forwarded to our Investigation
Division for follow up.
GPS Tracking
All officers wear trackers that ensure their
activities are monitored. Unlike vehicle GPS, personal trackers allow for us
to monitor the actions of the officer not just the vehicle. Trackers show
the officer's location within mere feet and thus we can monitor the officer
walking your property and their safety. Trackers also allow the officer to
request assistance from emergency personnel at the touch of a button. GPS
tracking is done through a third party and data is accessible at the clients
requests. When it comes to security, integrity is of the utmost importance. |
