James entered the security industry in 2001 and earned his security license that year. During this time, he worked as an officer providing security to a large corporation. In response to September 11, 2001 and Operation Enduring Freedom, James enlisted in United States Air Force. He graduated from the US Air Force Police Academy and went on to serve as a Security Forces member. During this time, James Ralph underwent training in the force protection concepts, law enforcement, K9 operations and training, nuclear and conventional weapons system security, ground combat skills, resource protection, small arms marksmanship training in nine ground weapon systems, and  leadership for participation in day-to-day and contingency operations worldwide in support of the Aerospace Expeditionary Forces. James received advanced training in interdiction, special weapons and tactics, and high risk entry. He is certified by Bodyguard Training International as an Executive Protection Specialist. James also holds an Associates and Bachelor of Science degree and is currently working on a Masters. James was one of the Mayor's Top 100 in 2001, a Presidential Elected Scholar in 2001 and was awarded the 2005 National Leadership Award and Businessman of Year Award by the National Republican Congressional Committee Business Advisory Council.

A Word From the Owner

I would like to thank you for your interest in Raven Security Forces. The security industry is continually changing and unfortunately there are multiple security companies out there that have a lack of professionalism, an observe and report policy that fails to decrease crime, and officers that are not in the physical condition to perform their job. It is my hope we can change all of that by offering our clients something the competition fails to- a complete security solution. We promise the following:

Apprehend Offenders- Our officers are trained to apprehend offenders and are issued law enforcement equipment to ensure they have the tools necessary to do their job.

Prosecute Offenders- Upon apprehending someone, our officers will work with local law enforcement to ensure the offender is prosecuted. This means we will handle all the paperwork and follow up with the court. Our clients are paying for security-it is our job to take care of every aspect of security.

Physical Fitness- All of my officers will adhere to our fitness standards. We understand that our professional appearance not only reflects well on the officer, but also our company and our clients. We understand the psychology of crime. A criminal is less likely to commit a crime if the officer has not only the tools to prevent crime but also the personal fitness to stop crime.

Professional Appearance- Our clients deserve to be represented in a professional manner. All our officers are uniformed. Our vehicles are outfitted with light bars, sirens, flashers and, of course, company logos. It is our belief that the reputation of our client is worth the expense.

Excellence in Training and Service- It is our calling to protect and serve. It is because of this belief that we will deploy anywhere in the world to ensure freedom is protected and security is provided. Our training is what allows us to excel and protect our clients. Thus, we train continually and understand that the 8 hour class that our competition gives their officers is not enough. We will continue our training to ensure we are of service to our community, state and nation. It is this philosophy that makes our company a leader in high risk operations both stateside and abroad.
